Political science graduate students at Northern Arizona University share a love of learning. The students get to know one another in core classes, work together in the Graduate Association of Political Science (GAPS), form study groups, and socialize regularly with each other. They enjoy small graduate seminars and the personalized education they receive. It is not unusual for faculty to draw graduate students into their research projects and to get to know each other outside of the classroom environment.
One of the best kept secrets of our graduate program is the location. NAU's main campus is located in Flagstaff at 7,000 feet. We have a four-season environment, 300 days of sunshine a year, and the best mountain biking and hiking in the state of Arizona.
