POS 541 and 543 are offered exclusively on the Web, and other courses (currently POS 581, POS 644, and POS 642) are offered on the Web in some semesters, in person in others. POS 581 is a topics course, and may be taken twice with different topics (e.g., Water Resources Management, and Conflict Resolution). |
No course may be transferred into this program from another university. |
Students may choose to take both POS 541 and 543, using one to satisfy the Core and the other to satisfy the Specialty Area. If POS 581 is taken twice with different content, one may be used in the Problem Solving block and the other in the Specialty Area. |
Neither POS 541 nor 543 may be applied to any Political Science Masters or Ph.D. program of study. With advisor approval, students may replace 541 or 543 in their Certificate program with POS 641 or 643, respectively; these courses are not offered on the web |
